We have gotten 15K-19K on the fronts, depending on the type of roads, & 40K on the rears. On the rears we were getting ready to go on long trips both times so could have gone a little farther if we were staying closer to home.
......I got forty three thou on my rears......they were still good.......I changed them ...in late june this year to go on a 4700 mile trip....no probs !!!!

Wondering....most wing trike riders change the front tire from a radial type to a bias ply sport touring rear tire, most mount it in reverse...
Wonder if that would work for us...stock tire last around 9000 miles, with the rear sport touring tire they are getting above 20,000.
I put a rear touring tire on the front of my trike 5 or 6 years back. I did this on a recommendation from a Honda Trike rider. I never wore out that tire, I traded for a 2012 TG. I just replaced the front tire (12K mi) with a Michelin Commander II rear tire mounted in reverse. Keep in mind that a rear tire is made to withstand the acceleration forces while the front tire is designed to withstand braking forces. Mounting a rear tire in reverse on the front takes advantage of longer lasting center-line hard rubber and the belt designs for braking forces. I fully expect to get 25K out of this tire. The only unproven/documented aspect is the tread direction. Tread design is strictly for water dispersion. I had no issues with the previous trike.
