Cost- I bought the chrome goodies from the fellow I bought the trike from, at 20% off retail, all HD parts

Time - While on the NY trip last week on my 13 Ultra I dropped the trike off at dealership and had them do the install..wasn't comfortable doing the front end and just let them do the other as well...

Cost of install- 340.00 for the front end...had some gift card presents so I used them...

Most will say should have done it myself, but a man has to know his limitations...plus I didn't want to mess things up...

I'm pleased...

Looks good, I think a chrome front end always make a huge improvement. By having the dealer do the front end you probably saved yourself a huge PIA, I know you sure saved yourself from having to clean up the fork oil mess which is one of the things I always hate about doing fork work.

The Traxion Dynamics fork cartridges have made quite a difference in ride quality, the down side is they are no cheap date. Traxion AK20's cost around $1,150 with a $150 installation charge if you ship your fork legs too them. You have to have them or an authorized dealer do the installation in the fork legs.
