Cancer in '08 took the feelings in wife's hands and feet, so her Deluxe went away for an '09 Tri-glide. She had no problems adapting. On the third day of ownership we rode from home to Las Vegas (300 miles) In '11 I had my second heart surgery. We bought her a new Tri and I inherited her old '09. I had a bunch of problems going to 3 wheels after over 50 years on 2. I'll never go back now. Ride it in good health.

Why let "Us" decide on what "You" are going to ride. I commend you for being smart enough to realize that you may no longer be able to handle a 2 wheeler and could potentially hurt yourself or someone else. I think whether you ride a 2 wheeler or 3 (except for that CanAm thing) you will always be viewed as a biker.
P.S. Nice choice and great looking bike...and yes I meant bike!

Traded my Ultra for a 2011 Triglide
Hey Guys,
I had a 2006 Ultra that was just getting to heavy with me and the wife to handle. I slipped a couple of times on cinders and almost dropped her. I got the 11 trike last year and I have really not put that many miles on her. I really miss the two wheels so I went out and bought me a sport cruising bike. I love that bike to death, it don't have any room for the wife. This is for me to have fun on. The trike is ok I just find that the seating is shorter than my ultra was. I tried to put the road zeppelin seat on my trike and it was at least 3-4 inches longer than what the trike could accommodate. I just feel that I am sitting on the damn tank. It is nice to not have to put your feet down, but she is a dog for power. The trike can handle real well when it just myself on it. I have put her thru the corners to see if I could lift the rear wheel. So far so good. Mine is vivid black and lots of bling on it. I am putting a better clutch in it with a clutch wiz and lift kit. I put a tour pak relocator on it as well which helped a lot too. Overall the trike is well made and it is a lot of fun when I can run her hard.
