Default Handle Bar Change Steering Effort?

Will be ordering a `15 Triglide and thinking of changing bars to maybe the 10" HD mini apes. I found when test riding the Triglide I needed something higher in a bar for comfort. Would changing bars to something higher make the steering effort harder? Anyone with experience with this?

Works fine, just don't get bars that bring your hands closer together. You might have to have hoses built for the brakes & clutch. You might like the 12" apes also. Give them a look.

I'm installing the Harley "Reach" bars this weekend. They were a very close match to the Khrome Works I had on my Ultra which I always loved.
