I have the V&H twin slash rounds on mine and love them , with the round cut outs in the back fasha I think the TGs look better with round mufflers rather than oval , IMO

I also have the V&H Monster Rounds. They have a 2.25" baffle that is too large but I am going to modify it this winter. Look great & sound GREAT !! Nice & deep !

Been thinking about installing the Fullsac cores into my stock mufflers that I still have. Has anyone done this?

Buddy, I had the SE Fatshots on my '12 Trike. They had a nice sound, but not so loud that they bothered those riding behind me. If you wanted louder sound from them they had changeable discs for the end.

I have a set of old 98 screaming eagles on mine. I have had the same set on the last three Harleys. When you rap it up, they are loud enough to scare a momma grizzly away from her two cubs but that's another story. The wife likes the sound and that is all that matters.

Not trying to hi jack this tread, but I went to install the Cobra Mufflers yesterday and they don't fit into the opening of the TG rear. Has anyone installed any type of oval mufflers on their TG? Longer muffler hanger bolts would be needed if I went with these. Wondering if anyone has done this. Have them listed in classified section...what was I thinking? Duh!

Looking for a distinctive deep Harley rumble without breaking the bank. Any suggestions from those of you that have that sound would be appreciated. V&H has a setup that is Trike specific and does not sound bad on their video, but I do not trust advertising.

Thanks for any input,

Yes, very subjective, everyone's ears are different...when I got the 14 TG I wanted to switch mufflers...been using Rush for the last 4 touring bikes. I listened to countless videos, went to bike nights specifically to hear different exhausts...after a month of searching, I realized I liked the Rush slip-ons with the W258's in them better than anything I've heard. Lots of bark, and a nice deep tone that is there whether cruising or getting on it.

I like the Rineharts when you get on them...but at an idle and cruise they are too quiet for me. The CFR's have an interesting sound when getting on them, but cruise is too quiet, and it is not what I would call a classic HD sound.

So, I put the same Rush slip-ons on the 14 that were on the 11. The 11 was a decatted stock header. The 14 has the ceramic 2-1-2 fuelmoto headpipes. I like the sound even better on the 14 than I did the 11. Not sure how much of it is the different headers and how much is the higher compression and different cams in the 14.
