cfr exhaust
I'm putting on some cfr slip on exhaust.and nothing else.what do the experience people think about tuning?im not trying to do wheelies or anything like
that just going for sound only.if i do a tuner it will be an sceamin eagle pro race turned.as i don't want to deal with dealers cryin about not using there product.already ran into that with zippers tuners..i know the motors are lean I'm just wanting to fatten it up a little..

If your going to use the SEPST its a great tuner . Just a bit more complex than a TTS or PowerVision. Sounds like you answered your own question when you said you want to use the S.E. product. And I get it . I have gotten the whining about the tuner not being an HD product in the past as well even though my bike ran flawlessly with it.

I put CFR knock offs (Cincinnati International Motorcycle parts E-Bay) on both my Freewheeler and wife's Tri Glide. We have ridden about 2500 miles since installation and have no problems. DIDN'T add a tuner, re-flash, or change anything. Spark plugs are brown in color, inside of the mufflers are also brown. White or ash color would indicate way too lean, black too rich. Seems like the computer is doing its job. My CFR knock-offs were $175 a pair compared to the $500+ for the real things.
