Many years ago before Vance & Hines sold anything for Harley s a rep there told me if Harley was the only motorcycle on the face of the earth they would never have one and is why I will never buy anything Vance & Hines. Not saying this is for every one but once a company leaves a bad taste in my mouth I never go back. What does Vance & Hines have to say about this or will they just delete my post?

 

Let's see.... many years ago a rep told me.....What do you expect them to say about this? Seems to be a bit harsh considering the source and time...Was this something he shared with you in a company bulletin? I am not saying what you passed on to us was not truthful but I have my doubts as to what he told you...

 

From a rep who probably doesn't work there anymore and may or may not have been promoting what the Management (who may or may not still be there,) told him (or not) to repeat to his customers?

I think I'd let that one go....

HAHA... I'm a user of V&H pipes owned 5 different sets on my train, I had an issue with one set, the stepped drags, that issue was a cop kept harassing me about the stamp on one of the muffler heat shields that stated off road use only, had 5 tickets, contacted V&H a number of times till I spoke with someone on the phone, stating the pipes were not advertised as off road use only, they finally agreed with my fix which was getting the other shield that didnt completely cover the muffler. Thanx V&h, oh they didnt charge me for the replacement, yeah....

The only complaint I do have with V&H and most other pipe man. is O2 placements, but I just weld them were they should be an move forward
