Default power duals install on 2015 RGS

Anyone have any better installation instructions? Possibly a video? The written instructions leave a little to be desired...

Default power duals install on 2015 RGS

LOL! You're not kidding..... I did the Dresser Duals.... Those instructions that come along, are basically a guide.... Very confusing and hard to understand....

I just installed a set of power duals, it wasn't that hard for me, I barely looked at the instructions, lol Seriously, not bragging but I have been a mechanic my whole life and have put on a half dozen sets of exhausts. What is your specific area you are having problems. I will try to help. I don't come here often so pm me with your questions. Thanks. Tracy

Hello,

I just installed power duels on my RGS yesterday, its not a bad job. Just take your time, read read and re-read the instructions. Took about five hours, Power Duel Header, round Monsters, Air Cleaner and FP3.

Thanks,

I had no problems with them on my 16 CVO SG. If you have fairly decent mechanical skills the instructions are good enough IMO. I also used the HD service manual for torque values on the flange nuts FYI. The V&H instructions will not give you that.

Default V & H - Power Duals cover rubbing

I purchased new V&H power Duals and Monster Rounds.

I installed and followed the instructions and have an issue with the pipe tin/cover rubbing on the transmission cover. The rubbing causes a chirp.

I took apart and rechecked and reinstalled and same issue.

Anyone else run into this?

(Call V&H and they where no help.)

I had the same problem. There power duals have alot to be desired when it comes to fit on these touring bikes. I adjusted and adjusted and finally go the front shield to stop hitting the floorboard bracket then I noticed it real close to the transmision cover I worked and worked until I finally just had to get a little prybar and pry the shield out taped the bar up so it wouldnt scratch then checked the tightness of the clamps after I pried it out thats the only way I could get it to work.
