Hey DK, just wanted to say thanks for this coupon code! Im new to the Harley world and pick up my new 2015 Softail Breakout on saturday. What system should i be looking at? i see the 425, 636v and 587.
again, im very new to the fitments and all to HD, whats the differences?
HD parts guys are ramming Cobra system down my throat...

Congrats on your new ride!
Both the 425 and the 587 will fit your bike. There are a couple of differences between the two-
1. The 587 is 5 7/8" in diameter and the 425 is 4 1/4" in diameter. The 425 shows a bit more of the engine.
2. On the 103 engine you have the 425 will perform well, at and throttle, including full throttle, up to about 5500 rpm, then (only at full throttle and above 5500 rpm) it will not be quite as strong as the 587 due to less air flow.
Some guys run regularly at full throttle at high rpm, if that is how you ride, then the 587 is better...it will flow more air than the 103 can ever eat.
Either one will perform far better than the Cobra system. Even though the Cobra flows enough air, it also feed hot, oily, oxygen depleted air into the intake. A performance robber, and not good for the longevity of the engine. More info on that at this link-check the pictures at the bottom of the page-

However, if you are just changing the air cleaner and keeping the stock exhaust, you do not "need" to do anything with the EFI.
