to put 12" yaffe monkey bars on do I need new cables or is 10" the highest I can go?

 

We send new cables with both the 10" and 12" Yaffe bars so that you have some room to run them correctly. You might get away with stock cables on the 10" but they will be tight.

I wanted to make this a DIY project. SO I don't want to change clutch and brake cables. So stick with 10" correct? How much are the 10" yaffe monkey bars?

 

We include 4" longer cables with the 10" Yaffe bars when we sell the kits. Stock might work, but they will be tight and you may need to re route them some. I wouldn't guarantee that you will be happy with using stock length cables.

We only sell the Yaffe bars in complete kits where we install all wiring harnesses and new controls.

I ordered the Paul Yaffe Monkey bars through Hill Country Customs.
I had the bars assembled and wired by them.
I ordered the 14" Monkey Bars in Chrome with Chrome switch houses and black switches. I also ordered the needed brake lines and clutch cable.

They did ok in assembly and delivery but they sent me BLACK BARS NOT CHROME AS I ORERED!! I bought Monkey Crash Bars ( in CHROME ) to match and was in great shock to see that they didn't get my order correct.
like I've got another 3 to 4 weeks to wait for them to redo my order.

Be advised they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. You get an answering machine that tells you to press 7 or 8 to reach Brian or Freddy
They are never reachable by phone

 

We will contact the customer and take care of this !

where do I go to get replacement switches for my hand controls please. The plug n play setup I bought back in August, 2 switches have already failed. Didn't expect to have to be replacing parts this soon.
