Default New Purchase of a 2003 VROD

I am new to the forum and I really enjoy reading the post. I just purchased my 2nd Harley this past week. I have a 2007 Roadking that I truly love, however I wanted another bike for shorter hauls. I was thinking about a 1200 sportster and found this 2003 VROD for a good price. I would like to hear from some of the VROD owners and their experiences with their rides-- Thanks everyone--

Canmention that I owned an '03 VRSCA for four great, problem free years. It would be a great complement to the RK.

Great choice as a second bike to compliment the RK. However, you may find yourself on the VR more than the RK.

Having one of each myself I actually find myself on the RK more often because I am usually out with my wife. Once I got the RKmy wifehas no more interest on being strapped to the back of the V-Rod. But then again........I tend to ride the two bikes quite differentlybecause one hauls azz and the other is just a comfortable putzer. I love both bikes for what they are and it is a really strange feeling to jump off the Barge of a Road King and slip into the V-Rod. Like having a Hippo and a Puma!
