Default Gloves..it's cold!

Ok so I have been through several different types of gloves but cannot find anything that will keep my hands warm in this freezing cold weather. I am obviously trying to keep the cost low. Any recommendations? Are the heated grips better? I am also hearing noise about heated gloves but have not found any.

Thanks.

I just picked up HD heated gloves, 98323-09VM, from Surdyke.com
They are made by Gerbing for HD. Qaulity looks good, have not rode with them yet because of the salted roads so I can not say much about function. I have owned Gerbing gloves in the past, you can not go wrong with them.....unless you leave them at home.....
Search this forum, there are lots of posts about this topic.

I've never used my heated gloves, The heated grips, and some decent winter gloves work well. Before the grips, nothing kept them warm, which is why I bought the heated gloves, but then I got hit, and insurance bought me a Limited that came with the heated grips before I had a chance to use the heated gloves.

Gerbings gloves. Period. Just do it. The only regret you'll have is how long it took you to actually buy them.

I have one bike with heated grips that I rode up the Alaskan Highway with.

In the Canadian Rockies in the mid thirties and rain they keep my hands warm and I was only using mechanics gloves.

This winter I used heated Gerbing's in 20 to 40 degree weather and they did good but not as good as heated grips. I even had the grips on low and had to shut them off every so often as they got hot.

I ride all winter as long as the are clear. Did 7,300 miles since last Nov. 1 to yesterday. Heated gloves or grips. I think that the grips come in a little cheaper.

Heated grips are the way to go. I rode my son's BMW with bare hands once and he had left the grips switched on....youch!!!! grips were too hot to touch!

Why he was using heated grips in the north of NZ is beyond me but he is a skinny kid ;-)

Might as well buy their heated jacket liner and dual controller at the same time and get it done in one fell swoop!

So I see you're from South Atlanta. What temp range are you talking about? While I agree heated gloves are the best way to go when riding in COLD weather (for me that's 45 degrees and below while riding), glove liners work well for me in 45-55 degree weather. They don't keep my hands really warm, but they do a good enough job in allowing my hands/fingers to be functional so I'm riding safely. Gator Skins work well for me.

Given in go heated bedone with cold fingers and hands for good.
We ride in weather below zero here some times Heater gloves are a big help.
Also you do not need the bulk you do with none heated gloves.
