New Muscle for me....
Hi all, new here and getting my first Harley, a 2014 V-Rod Muscle.
I have a couple questions...
My dealer told me 3 hours labor to put on the backrest... is that reasonable?
What pipes? I really like the black V&H two into one competition series. Can a dyno guy tune it and remap or do I need a power commander V?
Thanks, Saturday can't get here soon enough!

you can get a power commander but you can also just have harley retune it. all depends how much you wanna spend.
because vrods dont have much for rear (struts) that most other harley models have back rests can be kinda weirdly mounted on em. im not sure on the new muscle but that may be the case. ive always installed my own backrests but then again i have a dyna so it may be much easier.
What color did ya get? congrats!

You can have the dealer do a stage 1 download. I had a stage one download, V&H slip ons and went topless on the air box, it was a beast. I would HIGHLY DISCOURAGE the Harley back rest. It's useless and they have to drill holes in the fender to mount it. It's permanent. Go to youtube and search bicep backrest. It's amazing. For tons of vrod info go check out 1130cc.com. Enjoy

Welcome...
Three hours for a backrest? That would be like $300 for labor... I don't know about that.
Exhaust? Do a lot of searching on youtube and as someone said 1130.com. Personally I went with Tabs / no baffles and their tuner.. easy install.
pics?
We are foster children, so we don't get much love here, lol....
