I have one that came with my '14
ultra. Used on two trip. The cord has a couple spots that were slightly melted from touching the pipes after disconnect. Only outer cord affected,still works fine. I bought a half helmet so can't use it anymore. $50 and it's yours.I can snap some pics of the areas if you want.

 

These sell pretty regularly in the Touring parts section.
Just check once or twice a day and usually someone will be off loading a new one usually for cheap.

Have you looked into the latest and greatest offerings in Bluetooth?
They are getting more compact, no wires make it nice...

 

Yea, still a little expensive and everyone you ride with has to have bluetooth plus radio is not bluetooth so cant listen thru headset. At least from what i understand of it, which aint much.
