Default 2012 FLHX front and rear wheel bearing sizes

Hello all, I have a 2012 SG without ABS and just bought a set of 2014 tires and wheels that of course has ABS. So I need to change them out. I would like to find the bearing somewhere other than HD. HD wants $80 a set. Do you guy see any problems in using the old bearings with 10700 miles on them?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Peter

You DO NOT have to change out those ABS bearings for fitment purposes.

You just need reduced length spacers for the Left Front and Right Rear (ABS bearing side) to install the wheels on a NON ABS bike.

PM me if interested, I can provide those spacers to you.

BTW, It's not usually recommended to re-use previously installed bearings (especially dependent on your bearing removal method)

Thanks DTTJGlide, multihdrdr provided me with new milled spacers. They fit perfect. The quality and speed of shipment was great. Definitely give him a shout if you need new spacers. Thanks again guy's!

Hopefully Multihdrdr might be able to help me out with this. I'm in the process of putting an 07 front wheel on my 06 Night Train. I thought I could just put 06 bearings in and go, because of my smaller axle size. The hubs are different though and the 06 bearings sit about 2mm further outside the hub. I have all my stuff at a local machine shop getting 3 new spacers made up. Can you see any problems with how I'm going about this??
Thanks, Matt.

Not as long as you get your math right

"3 spacers"...So you are shortening the 07 internal spacer sleeve also? You'll only be able to shorten it up (max) to where the Right-side bearing (Opposite of brake side) will bottom out in the the bore. I'm not sure how much is left to "use up". You'll still probably have that right side bearing protrude like the left-side.

The "key" is that you want to end up with the same total width (left spacer+bearing+internal sleeve+bearing+right spacer) with the 07 wheel as the 06 width which includes making a left spacer (the important one) that maintains the same left fork slider to rotor dimension.

I think for your application you could have (easiest way) used your 2000-06 3/4" ID x 21mm width bearings (6mm wider than 2007), 07 internal spacer sleeve, moved your right-side spacer to the left (i think it's just about correct, maybe .000-.010 off), then make a new correct sized Right-side spacer). All bearings will be protruding...right-side more than left

BTW, you should probably start a new thread when asking this type of question.
