Default Front wheel clunk.

New here, so sorry if this is not where this post should go. I have searched, and found nothing on here that explains the problem. I just did the fork seals on my 2006 street bob. (22K miles). Put it all back together, dropped it down, and when applied brakes when I moved it there was a clunk. I have the bike back up on the stand. Spin the front tire forward apply the brakes "clunk" let go of the brakes spin the tire forward apply the brakes no clunk. Then spin the tire backwards, apply brakes "clunk" spin tire backward again apply brakes no clunk. Spin tire forward apply brake "clunk". And so on and so forth. I have pulled the caliper off, removed pads cleaned all that, and put back on. Still does it. I tried switching the wheel spacers thinking that I mixed them up. Still does it. (Now I'm not sure what side the spacers go on) Does anybody have any idea? All help is greatly appreciated.

Here's a link to a video of the issue. https://youtu.be/QbhZIQuCDgU

The appropriate forum probably would be https://www.hdforums.com/forum/frame...end-brakes-56/ OR the Dyna forum

Did you ever check for that noise before making any changes?

Not sayin' this is it, but...
The guide pins TO brake pad backing plates do have some varying degrees of "slop".

Have you heard that disc brake cars when changing from forward to reverse or vice versa

Just guessing, floating rotors? If so that clunk is normal.

Thank you. I didn't know (at the time) that it had to do with the brakes. thought it was a wheel issue. It is the floating rotor. play between the 2 parts and the rivets that hold them together. The noise wasn't there when the wheel came off, or any time ever before that. When the wheel went back on it was there. Assumed it was a wheel issue.
