Default Scorcher 11s or 31s

In the market for tires 2009 fxstc 200/55-17 and 80/90-21. Ride rather aggressively the Dunlop 401 on there leaves a lot to be desired. I've had Anons in the past loved them but mileage was terrible and they cracked after only about year. So I been looking at D407s only to hear there terrible wearers in the 200mm size. So that brings me to the Michelin scorchers. I see the VRod comes with the 11s. Was wondering what you all think.

I'll never put anything but Night Dragons on mine again. But I'm in it for the stick, not the mileage.

200 wide tyres are nott going to wear very well, as they have shallow treads and high speed ratings. As for Avon, I've used them on my Harleys since the '70s without problems. They routinely use higher pressures than stock tyres, so if under-inflated are likely to give problems.
