Hi,
I am a bike mechanic,
but, I thought asking here may save research time.
I have a 2009 FXDB Street Bob
with the regular sporty size 19" front tire.

I much prefer the old school smaller- fatter fronts
like heritage or fat bob.

I assume the entire front end of a fat bob would bolt up, swapping the trees, brakes and all.

I know we got 1" axles and i think 22mm axles because I install new brgs all the time.

any thoughts, experiance or ideas on
best, most cost effective way to get that fat front?

I also wish to swap to cast wheels front n rear

Yeah you can put a whole front-end on, but there are other ways

Do want dual disc or are you OK with single?

 

single is fine with me due to saving weight
and although I rely on the front brake very much,
my racing years are well behind me!
