Default 30" front rim on FLHRC

I know the 21x3.5 is the biggest I can go with no modifications but I am really interested in going with the larger rims.

So a different fender is the obvious modification but would I have to modify both the rake and forks or would it just be one or the other with a different mounting bracket for the new fender?

All in all wondering if it's something that I could do, how costly of a project (excluding the $1500 rim lol) and the parts needed to be modified?

Maybe you'll get some responses here in this section, but I dunno. Touring section would be slightly better

In the thread below (asking about 23 and 26"), some respondents mention going to choppedbaggers dot com for better info

good luck

You will need to do a bolt on or weld on neck kit as well as fender. Fork mods need to be done but most parts come with a reputable kit. As multi said above choppedbaggers is a good place to learn a lot.
Good luck with your mods
