I did get about 2000 miles more then Dunlops.
Just be careful man, tires won't turn your softail into a sport bike.

After 8k miles, I wore the rear tire out. The front still looks really good. Connecticut doesn't have to many straight roads, mostly hilly and twisty. The tread wore even across the tire. Having the Indy put on another ND next month.

Any more input on these tires on a touring bike? Debating between the Night Dragons, the Commander II's and the American Elite's
Thanks

I have a 17" x 4.5" rear wheel. The Night Dragon is available in a 170/60R17 78V Reinforced, only other tires in that size and load rating are the Harley branded Dunlop 407 which cost $'s, and the Metzeler 880 which in my experience peel/loose patches of tread when nearing the end of their useful life.

That's good to hear, I'm due for tires soon. Doug, did you install the 140 in front? Post a pic if you did.

The 140 looks good! Great minds must think alike, I have a new Street Stalker fender waiting on the shelf to be installed.
Are you running lowers on yours?

Dan

yes, factory lowers, but i converted to the 10 up brackets so i am running lowers from a 12, vs an 04 that way i can run 6.5 speakers. you can see them a little in pic 1 & 2

all my roadglides have lowers, domt ride without them.

hope this helps
