Your bike came stock IIRC with an MU, which is 140/85 x 16", and the widest you can fit is 150/80 x 16", which can be bought with the same load rating as the MU, of 77. I have used one with success and no clearance problems. Make sure you get the correct load rating, as it is a popular size for lighter weight bikes and is also available in unsuitable load ratings.

The touring range got a complete make-over for the 2009 model year IIRC, when they had a new frame with wider rear fender and wheel. Up to that date, including your bike, and except for some SE models, they all had similar width fenders and wheels.
