Tire Gauge

Default Tire Gauge

A old Buddy and I was talking about Tire Pressure on our Bike I have A 2012 Ultra Classic I have been checking it with A Tire Pressure Gauge I got when I bought tires for my Truck I went by the Dealer and purchase A Harley Tire Gauge its A 15 pounds different between the two Gauges now I am wondering if I have the proper tire pressure in my tires.

I was always suspect of the normal pencil type tire gauges. I recently bought a lower end LongAcre 0-60 psi guage.

Tire guages do go bad. Your old gage might be off. They are cheep. Just get another one and compare. Also, some gauges are designed for higher pressure tires. You will not get an accurate reading on these gauges when used on lower pressure tires.
