I got a tire mounted on a 21" wheel today. As the tek was mounting it I noticed that there was a lot of water/soap in the tire as he was putting it on. I figure about 4 table spoons worth. I casually asked him about it and he said that when the tire worms up from running it the water will evaporate. I am wondering about balancing with Dina Beads. Will the water affect this? I did not add the beads yet as I am trying to figure out what I should do about the water. Any thoughts?

 

You'll be OK to add the beads.

 

How will it evaporate in an air tight system?

 

Unscrew the valve stem core and see if you can find a small enough piece of tubing to pass through the core and then suck it out.

 

I was able to work the bead loose and get a rag in there to soak it up.
