1. Shriner Special Editions

For years now Harley-Davidson has cultivated a good relationship with the men of the Shriners by offering not only discounts, but special editions. Shrine Editions, as they are called, are typically purple or pearly white, with special badgeing and details, like the 2012 Electra Glide pictured. Despite the badass, black leather, image Harley may portray in their advertising, at heart they actually are good corporate neighbors and like being associated with the Shriner's Children's Hospitals. You can see all of them here.

2. Shrine, Police and Fire Special Colors

Typically Harley offers Shriners the same deals, on the same bikes as fire fighters and police officers. Over the years these have ranged from top of the line touring bikes, to Softails, to even Dyna models. The only difference is that fire editions come in bright red, and police models typically are black or white with blue pinstripes.

3. Tri-Glide Shrine Edition

A very limited number of these Tri-Glides were produced, starting in 2010. Any Shrine member is eligible to purchase one through the Shrine purchase program, but even with their discount it is not an inexpensive bike. You can choose from white or purple.

4. Shrine Cycle Patrols

Not every Shiners group has a parade Cycle Patrol that rides Harleys, some of them famously prefer go karts that look like little cars, and some prefer other bikes. One thing these groups do share though, is the complex patterns and formation that the group will execute over the course of the parade route. Each member is responsible to learn their part of a complicated routine to be executed with accuracy.

5. Al Menah Temple Motor Corps. Nashville, TN

One of the temples you see most often riding in parades is the Al Menah Temple Motor Corps. out of Nashville Tennessee. In the picture they are practicing their precision routine in preparation for the national Shriner parade competition.

6. Medinah Motor Corps. Chicago, IL

The Medinah Motor Corps, from the Chicago area, is one of the best motorcycle drill teams in the country. Members work hard to be competitive in various nationwide contest, and travel far and wide to perform at parades. They all ride matching Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic Shrine editions, so you can imagine why the motor company wants to keep them coming back for new bikes every few years.
