All the general rules of the forum apply to this forum. The below rules are specific to this forum only.

The General Rules for this new Forum are:
There will be NO Political discussion at all. Threads not related to the title of this forum will be removed. Any posts not related to the title of this forum will be removed.
This will not be a Forum for general discussion. It is intended to be a helpful, supportive place for our Troops and their Families and any discussion should be limited to Support of those folks.
Names and Addresses will be kept OFFLINE.
HDF Members will request and receive those names by PM to **** or VegasHD

It is here that you can give or receive a name and address for a Deployed Service Member.
Some of these Folks do not get much support from home due to limited finances of their immediate Family or the lack of Family period. We have become aware that there are many, many of our troops who receive little or no Mail. Any Service Member who has been deployed can tell you that the #1 Morale booster while deployed is Mail Call!
While one of our Members was deployed, he learned of several Squadron Buds who got shorted at Mail Call. We need the names and addresses of these types of Folks.
We would like for the General Membership here at HDF to go to this new Forum and request a name and address, then take it upon themselves to “Adopt” this Service member and insure that they get regular Mail and Packages from home.
We will provide names as they become available, we will also have information on What to send, how to pack it, and the best postal rates etc.
There will be links to groups like, The Blue Star Mothers and The Patriot Guard.
We will also attempt to answer any questions that you may have about things Military, things that may be new to you and your Family, such as, Boot Camp and what to expect, or Deployments and other things that some of us may have already experienced.
