Default Letter from H.D.

I was scouting around the site and stumbbled on some ones post about the recall on all 2007 twin cam models in prodution I got the notice in the mail today its being called a enhancment not a recall! and they are doing this upgrade at no charge. I am not complaining by no means especialy if it makes my bike run better than it already does! what do you guys think about this "upgrade"

I got the same notice. I'd like to hear from some members that have had it done.

I had it done on my Ultra. Bike runs smoother at low RPMs and taking off from a stop. Nothing changed at run speeds. Seems better to me. Also, bike doesn't shake quite as hard when stopped. No down side that I could tell.

Is your Ultra the 110" SE? Did your mirrors shake like hell before you had it done. If so, did they stop shaking afterwards?

Yes, mine is the 110. The bike did shake a lot at idle, but it smoothed out quickly so I had no mirror problems going down the road. After the re-flash, the bike doesn't shake as much at idle, although it does still shake like all of the rubber mounted bikes.

Doing slow speed riding in first gear is smoother now too.

Everything else is the same best I can tell.
