Default Tranny main seal?????

My 61 Pan is hemorrhaging oil, from the main tranny seal. I've gotten all the way to the humongous nut that retains the main sprocket. Does anyone know what size that thing is? And what depth (brand) of socket do I need to get it off?

Also, where do I get one of those seal puller tools?

Socket is a 1 7/8".Get one at sears or some other place.Army surpluses are a good place.Cut the ratchet end off cleanly and weld a 4 inch hollow pipe section between the two pieces you cut.A puller can be found at above places as well just get one w/ long enough jaws. You could always ask around too.Someone would be happy to let you borrow one for a day or so.

Usually pull the seal just by carefully prying it out.
