The reason why I don't like these Sears jacks or anything similar to them is that I had a medium size Honda fall OFF one, fortunately, away from me. You can imagine the damage. From that experience! and for the maintenance I do on my H-D 'Sweet One', my simple bike lift works fine, rock solid. Maybe for your needs, a lift/jack to raise the bike higher would be needed. IF I needed to raise a bike that much, I'd look for a reasonably-priced table lift (if there is such a thing).

you will be very glad you got it, great for cleaning and servicing, plus you can turn the scoot around in the garage.
always leave the jiffy stand down so that after you lower the bike and slide the jack out you can let it lean over to the left on the stand. practice raising the bike till you find the right balance point so it raises almost level. I always raise it high enough to use the lock on the jack so the bike can't lower unless you want it to.

your hydraulic bottle has a leak. I would see if Sears will service it under warranty... or see if you can replace the bottle... might be cheaper to just get a new one if they wont fix it (its less than a year, so....). I've had mine for a couple years now without issue.
