Airman in critical condition after motorcycle accident
December 6, 2006
RAF LAKENHEATH, ENGLAND -- A 48th Fighter Wing airman is in critical condition at a British hospital following a motorcycle accident last weekend.
Master Sgt. Scott Tusler, 42, is being treated at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for severe head injuries. He was transferred to Addenbrooke’s from West Suffolk Hospital earlier this week, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday on the A134 outside of Bury St. Edmunds when Tusler lost control of his 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and crashed, according to the Suffolk Constabulary. Authorities said it’s unclear how the accident occurred and are looking for members of the public who witnessed the accident to provide additional details.
The senior noncommissioned officer serves with the 48th Civil Engineering Squadron, according to an RAF Lakenheath spokeswoman.

This was posted on the British Legion Riders website, we have all been sending messages to Scott, some have sent Xmas cards too. I'm sure as fellow bikers we would all like to help keep his spirits up and help him back on the road This is something we all dread happening to one of ours. I would think he would appreciate some good wishes from Stateside too.
Mr. Scott Tulser
