i would like to have known the objective reason for those not liking the vrod. i would respect their opinion... just curious. i know the vrod is not for everyone. actually, i have found that there is very little middle ground. most either love it or hate it!
its cool though cuz the bike fits my personality like a glove!

It is all good. Used to have three H-D's. Prefer one or two. Down to one. Going up to two. Will be strong and have no more! Been hanging around elsewhere in this forum... lately, defending the V-Rod in a topic under the General H-D chat section. Have a video in the video section here. I own a Night Rod Special 07. I ****ing love it, but... unfirtunatelly people DO NOT SEE BLACK BIKES and I crushed twice in a week.
Two cars ****ing crushed me. Once when I was stopped at a stop sign.
And second time was...about 1 hour ago. A retarted driver tried to avoid a bump on the road, got in my lane and tipped me over. The bike slided for a long long long distance and miraculously, it had nothing more than a broken mirror, and foot controls. Other than that it was still shinny and proud, oh and had 0=Zero scratches. Unfortunatelly, me and my woman have more than Zero scratches but fortunatelly nothing more. And I managed to lift the bike back incredibly easy, all by myself.

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear about that. Did the idiot stop? Are there witnesses? Hope you get everything you can out of him/her.
Make sure you check the bike over real well, and consider having it looked at by someone professionally. I'm not trying to drag down your enthusiasm about the bike being okay, I just wouldn't want to hear that after everything is resolved with an insurance company you find out that there is a major problem.
Keep your head up, I hope you and your lady heal up soon.

You think Max would actually allow this site to be posted over there like HDForums allows his to be posted over here? Any post with www.hdforums.com would be killed almost instantly. There are an awful lot of things that you may not know about. Try looking at www.myvrodsite.com to see a little of what I'm talking about. It's a new site with few members, and although it is not made to berate Max, there is some information over there that is interesting. There is even a thread called "Please Don't speak Negative about Max or 1130cc.com Here".
You'll notice that I have not been posting over there much lately.
