My son was able to come home last Saturday for Christmas. We had a great time. Fished, rode, drank, and shot weapons. He headed back today, has to report by midnight tonight. Will be several months before we get to see him again. Got to love those kids. He absolutely loves what he does, what else could a person want?
Santa came to our home last night!! haha

Guess should say that we are not new to this. Son has been deployed 5 times that we know of. The only way we know he is gone is when his cell phone is turned off. It wasa very special Christmas as he has not made it home for one in 6 years. Thanks for all your kind words. He is a very special young man. (now if he could only find a special woman....that from my wife by the way.) haha
