I know this will have a lot to dowith your location. But, Christmas Eve my son and I took a200 mileroad trip and today, Christmas day, I went for another ride. Just wondering who got the chance to get out and ride over these 2 days, and about how many miles did you ride.

Home is in south Florida, around West Palm Beach. We will ride just about anywhere, to the Keys or up to Daytona Beach. The weather this weekend was fairly good. It did not start raining steady until Christmas evening.

Christmas day was 2 degrees off the all time record high temperature of 68 degrees in Bakersfield, CA. It hit 72 degrees in Arvin, CA. Beautiful day. The wife and I went to Bakersfield to see my mom and to Arving to see her mom. Both are in assisted living facilities. My mom is 82, hers is 92. Nice day for a ride and a great day to celebrate Christmas with the moms.
Guilty as charged! I got the chance to put on about 60 miles on Christmas Eve. Was riding just outside of Chicago the "Windy City". Temperature was in the mid 30's and wind was about 5 - 10 mph. Was a bit overcast.
I think credit needs to go out to those who rode in "COLD" weather..........(I'll define that as people who live in the snow regions....)
I am happy for those that get to ride year round - but it's just not the same. Much more of a challenge up here.
Happy Holidays all..........

I rode about 120 miles to the inlaws day before Christmas eve. While everyone in the family was taking an after lunch nap, I rode around Reelfoot Lake up in west Tennessee. Sunday, Christmas eve rode home. Weather was pretty moderate here, temps in the high 40's even low 50's Sat afternoon. Christmas day it rained heavily in our area, so the bike stayed warm and dry in the garage.
