Default Ride-On Tire Sealer

Anyone here used this in their tires? Couldn't find much by searching.

for some reason, the search engine on this forum does not go back all that far - I had a flat on highway 1 on the coast of Ca last spring - no cell service / finally got a biker to stop, got a tow (thank God for Road America) when I got home I started searching here on flat repair kits and ideas... found a few riders that were using Ride On and they liked it. went to the web page http://www.ride-on.com/prod_mot.asp and started reading and searching... I actually went to their Testimonial page http://www.ride-on.com/test_motorcycle.asp- I then pulled up www.dogpile.com and used their Whitepages / phone book and found some of the people who were on the testimonial page - called and talked to a few. After all that I not only now run this in my Harley, I also run it in my 66 Vette (true knock off wheels) It has been about 10 months and I don't even know it is there... The cost is low enough that it is good insurance. The guys I talked to from the testimonial pages are what sold me. Each guy I talked to ask "how did you find me"... I told them that their letters were on the web site along with their name, city and state.. and I found them on Dogpile.com. Its a little risky making the calls but I am not shy and they did write a "thank you letter to the Co" All were very helpfull and told me all about how the product saved the day for them...
It will NOT hurt your tire and this is NOT like the green slime - It is 21st Century stuff -

I did do a post about this product last spring but I also can not find it from a search - anyone know what Iam doing wrong???

If you do go to the Testimonial page,,, scoll down till you see a green dirt bike... William Smith, Texas... Talked to this guy for some time... His story really sold me..

Thanks, harley0711, sounds like you certainly did the homework for us. Think I will invest in it. Main concern was about balancing issues, but what I've read also said it wasn't a problem.

Rockville H-D in Maryland started using this in all new bikes a few years ago. When I did not even own a HD I would bring my tires or bikes there to have them install the stuff before you could buy it in small quantities. Saved a new rear Goldwing radial that picked up a nail. Rode that tire for over 13K after that and not a problem.

Anyone have pictures of what the wheel looks like after having product in there for some time. I always thought that this stuff was good and actually ran it in tires/tubed that were on spoked rims. Just wondering how it did in tubeless tires and how it affected the rims.

I've used it in my Cycle tires for about 8 years now. It's NOT like that crap "Slime".

2 bikes, and 5 sets of tires and no problem. Currently, I own a Wing and put it in about 18 months ago. I also carry around some fix a flat rope and an air compressor. I've never had a problem, nor have I had a flat. I know some folks that had problems when they DID have a flat, the Ride-On did not let the rope seat well in the hole of the tire. I can believe that.

For most folks I've spoken with, they had no issues with Ride On and love it. After 8 years, my next set of tires I'll try NO Ride On and see what happens. Remember tho, I DO carry a fix a flat repair kit and compressor...so, its not a big issue to me.

Either.........or......it'll help when things go awry. Better 2 B safe, than sorry. I've helped a few riders (Harley's as well) with a Tire patch, and they were on their way in less than 30 minutes. Better than waiting on a tow.

Of course, there are SOME on this board I WOULD pass up. lol !!!
Only a Few......

They know who they are.
