Default noisy valves or lifters



my 99 fat evo single cam at 13,000 miles has developed noisy valves when </P>


you ease off the rpms when pulling they quiet it sounds like the cars of the mid 70s 80s with low octane but i run 93 octane any suggestions would be greatly appreciated harley said it sounds like the lifters are worn out but i</P>


dont believe that well maintained with only 13,000 miles on it my friends are working on 40,000 and no problems what so ever </P>

Are you using good oil?
