Default wishbone frame

I am rebuilding a 61pan and have found A PRE 57 WISHBONE FRAME AND AM WANDERING HOW BIG A TIRE I CAN GET ON THE BACK. iT MEASURES 8-5/8" AT THE AXLE PLATES

The real question is, after you fit the fat tire, how do you offset the tranny so that the drive chain clears the tire. Aye, there`s the "rub". The 8" between the axle plates is not the limiting factor.

500-16 if setting up stock using stock style fender.Tire types look wider than others.A 500-16 coker looks wider than most.
