Default Progressive 440's

Anyone have 440's on their bike? Are they regular or heavy duty? I am thinking this will be my next modification and am not sure if I should get the reg or HD model. I weigh b/t 230-235 lbs and always ride solo. I usually ride w/o a load, but do go on trips where I will have 4 days worth of stuff. Are there any other shocks you like better? Your thoughts, please.

I have the 440 regulars. They are a little stiffer than stock. To tell you the truth I can't really tell that much difference. Unless you want to lower your bike I think they are a waste of money. I too am in the 240lb range.

Thanks for the input Superguy, I think I will put them at the bottom of the "to do" list.

I have a set coming, I hope to get them next week some time.
Got them from California Phill's for $400, plus shipping and polished, 13 inches.

Mark, be sure to post your observations in the Touring forum as I'm considering the same for my Glide. My problem is that I'm only 180Lbs and divide my riding between solo and 2 up about 50% of the time so I'm not sure as to which ones to get. I'll stick with stock shocks for now eagerly awaiting your review...

Phil, I will post about them once I get some miles on them[8D] That should not take long
You would probably not need a "heavy duty" pair. I hope to get them this coming week.
