View Full Version : 1942 45 bus freak 02-18-2007, 01:29 AM Hey guys just a new guy that wants to say hi. Iam posting a picture of a 1942 45 that I finished about 8 months ago. I found this as a basket case andrebuilt it myself. I did all the paint body everything but the motor and trans. Iactually ride it here in town.I dont get on the highway becauseit does only 55 and that is a challenge. Besided the trucks scare the hell out me. NClakeguy 02-18-2007, 01:32 AM sweet bike. They used to send out exchange engines with the same numbers as the one you sent in. Get it out on a long straight stretch. It should do about 70 mph. Great looking Bike! I am just doing up a 1942 WLC and my painter wanted to know what primer they used under Olive Drab. Also, is today's Canadian Army drab the same color as what was used in 42?
