I was at a bike show a while back and saw these Zox helmets. Their site is: http://www.zoxhelmets.com/zoxhelmets/index_en.asp. They looked good and fit well but when I went to try to buy one I found that nobody carries them locally. One guy at a shop said today that he'll never carry them and added "I don't like to trash talk brands but I'll tell you I like to see my customers come back alive to buy more stuff". He's the only person who told me they're no good so I went to do a little online research and found these are pretty new helmets and couldn't find much of anything about them. Has anybody had any experience with these helmets?

One of the Harley dealers here in Kansas City had a budget Zox full face - I tried it on and it seemed comfortable.

Sounds like a great idea! When in doubt, always step up to try a new helmet that no one has ever heard of. I bet the price is reasonable also.

Hence the request for people to share their experience with the helmet.

Bought one for my daughter this year and she LOVES it! It's way cooler looking that ol' Dad's but the reviews are good too. Safe, inexpensive, and looks cool...can't go wrong IMHO.

I am waiting for delivery of a Zox Tavni I bought on e-bay for abut $50. It was well reviewed by webBikeWorld at: http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/zox-helmets/zox-azuma-r.htm I liked the part suggesting the ventilation was very good. I have been using 1/2, but the cooler weather made a try at a full face sound good. In looking today, I should have bought it : http://www.bikersstore.com/ I will follow up when I get It later this week

I bought mine, a half helmet, a year ago at the Cleveland bike show. Used one season so far, no complaints. It's DOT approved which is more that some of the "beanees" that are out there.

Bought the Zox old school half beanie in matt black, comfortable and nicely made, bought it off Ebay. Would definitely recommend though I can't speak for it's safety it is fully Dot certified.

Just got an old school in polished black. Great, comfortable helmet for the money. Chin strap kind of long, so I attempted to secure it with the attached small red piece of elastic...didn''t work. So I just wrapped it underneath the chin strap. Very irritating to have that strap loose and flapping upside your face!

Zox modular helmet That bought new yard sale. The person that sold it didn''t like it''s type. I love for the winter time riding. It rides a little higher than my other helmets fit. Great for an heavy winter time coats. It has a pull shield build into the helmet. Plus it''s modular it can pull bottom up also. I have 10 helmet and for winter that is the only helmet I will wear. Summer time I like the air in my face.
