Well, I'm 44 and have been riding since I was 9 years old; always been a racer at heart. Top speeds were from 45 mph to 187 mph (Susuki GSXR 750 popped out). Still have a rice rocket to play on the curvy roads but I just bought my first big twin, a 2005 Dyna FXDI with a few trimmings. I'm ready for low, slow(er), and full of low end go! The Harley just has a feel you can't get from anything else. I have and old John Deere 2-cylinder tractorwhich I'll sometimesjust whip out a lawn chair, start her up, and listen for a while - the Harley gives me the same comfort. Riding season here in Alaska is relatively short but my new Harley family, the wife, and Iwill take full advantage. Wooohooooo!

Thanks folks! I forget to mention how I always wanted a Harley but could never just seem to fork out the $$$ ($$$). I'm a retired Air Force veteran (21 years) and had purchased a Harley key chain three years before I retired; the Harley would be a retirement gift to myself. Well, first one thing then another and five more years passed. When I finally made the purchase I walked in to the dealer carrying a keychain still mounted on the cardboard (priced $4.95). I never lost sight of the dream....
