Default Am I lookin at trouble?

Ok, I got my scooter to the dealership for the 8* to 25* injector swap. They told me they’d be happy to do it, but their dyno was down, when I heard that I asked if I should just bring it back when they got their dyno up and was told that it wouldn’t make that big of a difference and I would be safe to run in that configuration until they could dyno it.

These guys have never steered me wrong before and they’re the reason that when I have work like this done, I ride the extra 50 miles to get to their shop.

Should I be worried that it won’t be dyno’d after the injector swap? What are the possible complications for not getting it dyno'd after the swap?

Do you have any other engine mods? Are you running a SERT/PCIII? when I had mine swapped out they did the download only (no dyno) but immediately afterwards (within 50 miles) I went to the house and installed my V&H pipes, Ness AC, and the PCIII...I used a canned map and have had no problems due to the injector swap...I'm 2000 miles in w/the 25* injectors and I've never had my bike dyno'd simply because it's runninggreat as-is.

I agree with FXSTI Guy, If you are running a stock ECM with no aftermarket FI mods, you will be fine with the HD download. The 25* flow quite a bit more fuel than the 8* injectors. If your running an aftermarket FI and don't get it dynoed for the new injectors, you could be asking for trouble.

I'm running the SE slip-ons with the race download, but that's it. Purchased the SE AC, but waiting on it to come in.

The ECM is the stock though with the race download(not SERT or PC).

Good information to have, thanks much.
