any idea how to get brakes to pump up ? cant get any pressure to the caliper. any one ever use a large syringe to reverse bleed the brakes through the caliper up to the master cylinder?

I used vacuum to pull fluid through system. Install vacuum hose to bleeder, open bleeder and suck it through with a pump or ?. Seems to work great if in a pinch.

Take the cover of your master cylinder.Just slightly squeeze the handle. You'll see see tiny bubbles start to come up.Keep doing it until you get some resistance. Then bleed it the standard way and you'll be set to go.Remember just barley squeeze the handle, keep feathering it and it will work.

You will be amazed how easy the reverse method is using the syringe. You will have your brakes bled in a matter of seconds.....

The slow squeeze method works, but takes forever. you may have to ride it around the block(very carefully) to agitate the air bubbles up. Also what seemed to really work for me was to pull the brake lever about a quarter inch and let it snap back to the stop. do this rapidly and you will see some bubbles. i was bleeding my brake for over an hour before i decided totry this and i was done in 5 minutes.

The feathering idea did not work for me either , do the same thing but tap your palm against the master cylinder where the lever attaches , then feather the lever . Lots more air comes up , it will take a little while for all the air to work up the line but it will work !

Animal supply store for large syringe - I like my hand held vac. pump - works good...
Had the same problem - took a long time to prime - let it sit overnight...maybe..my .02
