I bought some of the permanent sideplates for my '06 Sportster, but I noticed that there are some burrs on the inside of one of the plates. These are supposed to mount flush to the rear fender, correct? If that is the case, won't the burrs scratch/gouge the paint on the fender? I haven't gone back to the dealer with them yet, I'll try this weekend.
