Default exhaust systems available

I own a 2005 Harley softail model FLSTN. I want to upgrade my exhaust to more throaty sound. What system will give me that Harley sound yet not rattle the world. I have fuel injection will a different exhaust harm my fuel system.???

Two cents: Harley's (Sceaming Eagle) slip-ons seem to suit very many ears to that Harley sound. And; with any exhaust change you must open the intake with a K&N breather system also available from HD. Those changes will cause the engine to run more freely so you must richen up the mixture. You can allow HD (and pay dearly) for a Stage 1 computer upgrade or purchase a Digital Fuel Optomizer (DFO) or Power Commander and do it yourself. Those systems are easy to install and allow much present and future adjustments to your fuel system. (The Power Commander also adjusts the spark advance curve as well.)

I have the screamin' eagle slip-on's and they are a good sound and easy on the wallet. They are not real loud but sound good. They cruise fairly quiet and sound great when you twist it. Vance and Hines are a good sounding pipe, I have heard a few of those and they are louder than the eagles and have a little deeper sound. Can't go wrong with any, find a style you like and go for it![sm=smiley20.gif]
