Default Wow! What an improvement!

I had my '05 XL1200R out for a 100 mile ride yesterday with the current round of mods. Progressive front fork springs w/ heavy duty oil, Harley Sport shocks and Mustang Vintage Solo seat. A whole different bike! Soaks up the bumps, no more "bottoming", no more fork "collapse" when applying front brakes and greatly improved cornering ability and feel. No down side at all. The HD Sport Shocks came from ebay at $188.00, new in the box (Harley price $599.00) easy install and the fork springs bought and installed by the dealer for $182.00. I heartily recommend this combo for the Sportster Roadsters!

Damn shame HD didn't finish building your bike for you isn't it? You had to do it for them.

Well, good for you anyhow. It's always good to hear about the enjoyment and success.
