Default Am I wrong about letting people pass me in my own lane

So I am on the Ducati board and they are bashing Harley riders left in right. One guys says he was driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway and a bunch of Harley Riders were doing the speed limit and they wouldn't pull over the right side of their lane so he could pass them in their lane. So he had to pass the unskilled riders by going over the yellow line. Then he bitched because he gave him the finger.

I took exception to this. I am not going to let anyone I don't know pass me in my own lane. Especially on a windy mountain road like the Blue Ridge Parkway. They say I don't know how to ride a motorcycle and bashed me. Am I in the wrong here. I have ridden over 75,000 miles and no bike has ever passed me in my own lane.

This sound dangerous and disrespectul.

Virginia law says ya can't occupy the same lane with someone else. They are in the wrong. Next time, if they come up on ya, block em. Even if ya have to go over the yellow lane. That'll make em think twice about tryin to pass a Harley.

I've been passed many times in my own lane.
More often than not, I have waved them through at a straight section.

It always pisses me off when someone blasts by uninvited. Especially doing over 100mph when they go by.

If a bike's overtaking me rapidly I usually get over to the right side of my lane, give 'em room and be done with it,but I don't feel obligated to do so.

No one passes me in my own lane unless it's at a stop light/sign and it's invited. I've seen to many idiots dump doing stupid chit like that. If you want to go faster than me on a 2 lane highway then you can wait until a passing zone and go by.

My lane is MY LANE. I've never been passed in my lane.

I always get over to the right to give a rider coming up behind me the option of passing. But then again, I am usually cruising at or below the posted limit and enjoying the scenery. There is plenty of lane there for the two of us, I don't have a problem with being passed.
