You Thundemax guys suck...
Alot of you are contstently adjusting the maps, can I just set it and forget it, or is it an ongoing process?
Thanks guys, you HAVE been a big help.
P.S. Sorry we ****'d yea off LOL
Just finished putting on the V&H Bigshot Duals (PITA, gettin' too old...) Changed map to get closer ( I bet I didn't even need too..) Sounds GREAT! Was a little worried when I heard some popping at first and a little less pull because of the true duals... I swear I felt it adjusting. Pop all but gone, torque came back. Pulls solid. I have no way of knowing how it compares to stock exhaust other than my assometer ...I love it! And that's only after two cycles (total of about 5 miles...) It was getting late, so I came back home. If this thing is as reliable as it performs, I can't help but think Tmax will eventually pull ahead of the pack. Especially if they could sell it a bit cheaper. It's hard to drop a jeezle on something you're not sure of. I'm sure now! Absolutely no regrets. Have fun.
Installed the t-max with auto tune today and all I can say is it runs awesome!! No decel popping or slow speed surging anymore. Runs alot smoother at all speeds, even less shake at idle!! It only took two days to show up at the front door. Pricey but well worth it.

GREAT acceleration! I'm really happy with the combo of Tmax auto tune, Tmax A/C , and the V&H Bigshot duals. I haven't heard much about these pipes on the board, but they are beautiful to me. One solid shield from head to tip, very clean sleek look. I put the optional slash cuts on with slash up. I had also bought the quiet baffles thinking my wife wouldn't like the noise. When I realized what a hassle it would be to change the baffles after the shields were on ( the shieldshave to be removed which is my only complaint about the pipes) I left the original baffles in. So glad I did, definitely NOT too loud. The wind is louder than the pipes at freeway speed in 6th, which is perfect. You can control the noise level in town with rev choice. Open 'er up and that's a whole 'nutha' level
. Maybe not as deep sounding as the Rineharts but nice clean look, same diameter pipe all the way to the end (which I really like) and a bit less money. Excellent chrome and build quality. The V&H bung location on the rear pipe makes for a tight fit with the Tmax wideband 02's which are a little loger than the factory ones, but doable. The left side cover also seems very difficult to remove due to low clearance and is slightly rubbing on the heat shield. I'm going to try to reposition the shield when it cools off.5150-out

Low and mid range are heaps better. And , for those of you who haven't tried it.... you can lower the "cold idle
speed" graph; reducing it to around 1150rpm instead of the high 1308rpm, also (as I live in a hot climate), it can drop down to "hot idle speed" earlier, so it ain't "racing" at the first set of lights. This thing is great and simple to use. I read every post and made the right choice...thanks to all you guys. Milage dropped a bit but I couldn't care about that.
