Default Metzler Tires...

Does anyone recomend Metzler tires for a '06 Ultra Classic? If so, which ones? Thanks for the info.

I just switched from D Lops to Metz on my RK. After about 1000miles I like em, alot. Metz ME 880 130/90-16 front and 140/90-16 rear. Ordered them from Eastern Performance for about 250.00,free shipping and they were at my door in 3 days.

Can't speak for a bagger but I'm running them front and back. Been through 2 sets of Dunlops and got good milage & traction but sucked on tar snakes and groved pavement which we got plenty in Ark./La. Metzlers handle these w/o complante, got 7k on front and still good while back is brand new almost. Had trouble ordering the Dunlops 2x so decided to try Metzler.Handle as well as Dunlops and have a cool little elephant on the side wall to boot!!!

I just had two put on my FLHTCI and you can tell the difference no more squirming on crouved payment. Had about 12600 on my original Dunlop it would of went a little farther. Will see how these hold up on mileage. Different bike with the Metzler on.

I just got my first set of Metzler 880's last week....very smooth riding tires

What is the preferred air pressure for an Ultra? Metzler site says 38/44 for the 130/140 tires...

My rear lasted less than 7000 miles. I do not ride that hard. Not sure I will try another Metz. Maybe Avons next. Or Michelin. Understand HD dealers will be carrying them now.
