Looking to buya set'07 FLHRSE3 Leather Saddlebags. I can get them though my dealer, but in talking with others on the forum realized some of you FLHRSE3 owners may have replaced these leather bags with hard bags. If so and you would like to make some chrome money....I would love to buy your old bags off of you to place on my '07 Roadking Custom. Send me a note if you are interested in selling.

I have the FLHRSE with the leather saddlebags and love them. They are the rigid plastic saddle bags wrapped in leather. To complete the look, I think you would need the seat as well with the raised flames.

IMHO why would you replace the CVO parts (Sell them no less)? It's like when Indian was making bikes (Softail rip-offs). The joke was: What do you get when you customize an Indian? It returns to being a Harley.
If you sell the seat and bags, and then repaint the bike, it seems to have lost it's CVO legacy. What's the attraction for someone to buy it in the future? Obviously, it's a person's bike and they can do with it what they want.
I can see the benefit of hard bags, but I'd buy a set of hard bags and keep the originals in a bag in the basement.
People will sell them, though. I'm sure they are out there.
