Default The NFL Draft

Any opinions on who is doing good and who disappointed?

I figured seeing how its a hot topic we could start it here and then the mods could move it after a couple of days.....

Default RE: The NFL Draft

Well, I am a HUGE raider fan, and when this time of year rolls around its like the raiders always do a parody of what the draft is supposed to be.

however this year I was very surprised. Ive been saying for years, at least since gannon got hurt that the raiders need a young franchise QB to build a team around and this year they finally pulled it together in that regard. I was hoping for brady quinn, but russle exibits the same qualities as quinn but could probally take a few more hits in the pocket which he will need to get used too, and can definately scramble which he will also need to do until they get that front 5 built.

as far as other teams the only ones that made an impression on me were dallas and miami who are in need of a high calabre QB and let quinn pass and I think we will see the browns rub their nose's in it

I also couldnt be happier to see Moss let go. while I cant discredit his ability, his performance while in oakland was less then desirable. so that leads him to the patriots who now find themselves oversaturated in talent. I see a soap opera of pre-madonas next year for new england. they will either do very well, or tear themselves apart from the inside
