Lots of nice pics of the Night Trains - best Harley model IMHO. Here are two pics of my 2002 Jade Pearl FXSTB!

There is a pretty good article about the night train below, my only disagreement is that I can lock up the rear brakes very easily, and have skidded a few times not even trying.

Uff !!! I think that V&H exhausts are made for the Night Train !!! ....beautiful, beautiful :-)

By the way... My HD Dealer says that the 2006 models dont need the KIT for tunning the ECM when you change the exhausts. Do you know anything about it ?

NtSpain - Not from what I'm told. Bike is lean from factory. Anything you do to increase Air in/out will require re-cal on ECM.

I put pipes on mine, still waiting for A/C. Have SERT. I will recalibrate ECM before I ride again.

The pic has to be hosted on the net somewhere. I use Clubphoto.com If ya'll don't have a place to host them, email them to me and I'll host them and send the links for you to post them. My email is Tx_Outlaw@aledobb.com if you want to do that.

Thanks for all the kudos on the bike!

Nice Pipes !! Good sound ?
I have an '05 Night Train , vivid black, with V&H Big Shots....Might have to check in to what you have.
Also have the Panacea tail light system in smoke.. You'll love it. It's well worth the $. Easy to install.

Blaze - They sure haven't changed much, have they?

Janne63 - what kind of plans do you have for it? I found out one early cool (50*'s) morning that the rear reflectors pop right off. The ones on the forks don't come off as easy.

shhh dont say that to loud my wife thinks the same shes wondering why i need the new one lol

the bigger engine the bigger rear end the new badge on the tank and hopefully better brakes than the old single piston ones

i replaced the front with 6 piston brakes from hhi and would reccomend them to any one real 1 or 2 finger braking ....

well thursday i will let you know lol

stepping straight from the 99 model to the 2006 in looks they are very similar
but in the ride its like bikes from 2 different manufacturers
no vibration compared to the 99
everything is so smooth
clutch nice and light handles and corners far better
engine wise at the moment apart from pipes and a/c i have the stage 1 download and can already notice slight popping on decaleration and when accelerating it feels like it can use more juice [yes everything i have read in the forums shes running lean ] have decided to go the tfi route and will be installing this weekend

oh yes the brakes great improvement over the evo's and the 200 rear end what can i say pictures dont do it justice

another thing the twin cam seems to run EXTREMELY hotter than the evo even after the few miles ive done

time to plan the mods ...
